Update

Progress will be implementing changes to the SSH services on MOVEit Cloud in the coming months to offer SSH host keys and algorithms that meet current security best-practice and compliance standards. These changes are essential to maintaining the security of our offering and compliance with security standards like PCI, HIPAA, and SOC2.

In preparation for these changes customer should verify their SSH clients are up to date and support the following:

* Host key algorithms: rsa-sha2-256, rsa-sha2-512, and/or ssh-ed25519
* Key Exchange (KEX) algorithms: curve25519-sha256, curve25519-sha256@libssh.org, diffie-hellman-group16-sha512, diffie-hellman-group18-sha512

Scheduled changes:

~ April 14th Planned Maintenance:

Production changes:
* Disable ssh-rsa host key algorithm
* Disable diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256 kex algorithm
* Add ed25519 server host key and ssh-ed25519 host key algorithm

The above changes are currently available for testing on the North America test server

Test server changes (The following changes will be applied to the North America and EU test servers ):
* Replace the RSA host key with a new key using 4096-bit modulus - This will require clients to accept a new server host key when connecting
* Disable diffie-hellman-group14-sha256 kex algorithm

~ June 16th Planned Maintenance:

~ July 14th Planned Maintenance:

* Disable diffie-hellman-group14-sha256 kex algorithm

We will be patching all of the MOVEit Cloud servers and expect there to be minimal downtime for this maintenance window while servers are patched and rebooted.
